The Yale men's tennis team finished strong at the Dartmouth Invitational on Sunday, with all four remaining Yale singles matches coming down to the wire.
First year Michael Sun competed in the first match of the day, facing off against Buffalo's Ethan Nittolo in the finals of the main draw. Sun once again showed his competitive edge, but was ultimately defeated in a tight 6-3, 6-3 battle. However, junior star Dylan King then confidently took the court and delivered an impressive victory over Harvard's Samuel Beren in a nail-biting 6-4, 6-4 contest. Shortly after, sophomore Alan Sou topped Boston University's David Bogatin to swing the momentum further in favor of the Bulldogs. Although first year Arnav Dhingra fell to Boston University's Max Stehling in the last match, his willingness to fight for every point of this 7-6, 6-4 match will serve as a great boost to this young Bulldog squad come the spring season. The full results for Sunday's matches are posted below.
