New York, NY - Sophomore Michael Caldwell and senior Chris Lawler won the doubles consolation final for the Flight "A" bracket yesterday in the Columbia Invitational. Caldwell and Lawler defeated Ilia Shatashvili and Magdy El Mihawy of Columbia 8-5 in the match.
The victory for Caldwell and Lawler came shortly after Caldwell fell in the Flight "A" singles consolation final 6-2, 6-1 to Columbia's Marty Moore.
The Yale men's tennis team will travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota next Saturday and Sunday to take on Drake and Minnesota.
