Loyola was able to claim a single point by winning all of the doubles matches.
However, Loyola's doubles success did not lend itself to the singles matches; Yale systematically crushed Loyola in singles play. In the No.1 and No. 2 singles contests, Brandon Wai and Ryan Murphy both won in straight sets. Wai won the No. 1 spot, 6-4, 6-4, and Murphy claimed No. 2 with 6-4, 7-5.
Milosz Gudzowski triumphed in the No. 3 spot, winning the first set 6-3, struggling in the second 3-6, but then came back in the third set to clinch the win 6-3.
