Brandon Wai Falls in Nailbiter in Quarterfinals of ITA Tournament

No. 9 seed Brandon Wai came close to upsetting No. 4 seed Reed Hagmann in the quarterfinals of the ITA tournament, but fell in a third-set tiebreaker.

Wai fell 6-2 in the first set but battled back to an exciting 7-5 second set win to push the quarterfinals match into the third and decisive set.

There, the two players battled to 6-6 before Hagmann pulled out the match in a 6-point tiebreaker.

Wai, who won four matches en route to this game, advanced further than any other Yalie.
