Labosky Earns All-Ivy Honors

Makes First Team After Winning at Heptagonals 

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Senior Chris Labosky earned first team All-Ivy honors after his win in the 1,000-meter at indoor Heptagonals Championships last weekend. All-Ivy selections were announced on Tuesday.

Labosky (Tallmadge, Ohio) won the 1,000-meter run with a PR of 2.25.50. A standout middle distance runner, he also holds the no. 4 fastest time in the 800-meter run for Yale indoor. This his second time being selected for All-Ivy after earning second team honors last season as a member of the 4x880-yard relay team. Labosky was also named to the CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American men's track and field/cross country team last year and served as the 2009 cross country captain for the Bulldogs.

This weekend, Labosky will compete in the IC4A Championships in Boston, Mass.
