GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Bulldogs finished out competition at the NCAA East Regional with three performances on the final day: senior Alex Harris and junior Matt Bogdan in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and freshman Mike Levine in the discus.

The steeplechase was originally scheduled for Friday night but was postponed to Saturday morning due to inclement weather. Harris ran 9:04.41 to place 27th, improving from his rank of 31st on the list of regional qualifiers. Bogdan also competed in the steeplechase and ran 9:46.20.

Levine placed 24th in the discus with a throw of 50.20m.

Senior Chris Labosky was the only Bulldog who qualified for NCAA National Championships and will compete in the 800-meter run at the national meet, which runs from June 9-12 in Eugene, Ore. The track and field committee will post the list of national qualifiers by May 30 at ncaa.com
