Levine Earns First Team All-Ivy Honors

Wins Discus at Heptagonals

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sophomore Mike Levine earned first team All-Ivy Honors after his winning performance in the discus at the Ivy League Heptagonals Championships last weekend, hosted by Yale. All-Ivy selections are based on performances from Heptagonals, with the event winners earning first team honors and runners up earning second team honors.

Levine has been a standout thrower ever since joining the Bulldogs. On top of his title in the discus at Heptagonals, Levine also went on the podium for the hammer throw with a sixth-place finish and a PR of 54.79m.  An NCAA Regional qualifier as a freshman, Levine also set the freshman record in the discus and weight throw as well as No. 3 all-time Yale outdoor in the discus with a personal best of 54.41m.

Levine has also met outdoor qualifying standards in both the discus and hammer throw to compete in the IC4A Championships at Princeton on May 14-16.
