Q: Olympic Medal or World Record?

A: Olympic Medal. Records get broken, medals last forever.

Q: Favorite place to run?

A: The mesa trails in Santa Barbara, following along the cliff side overlooking the ocean at sunset. I've yet to find anything better.

Q: Thoughts in your mind with 100m to go?

A: 1) Turn into a sprinter. Go.

     2) All the way through the line...

     3) Ah man, I'm gonna puke.

Q: Sequence of activities after a Sunday long run?

A: I like to start things off with an ice-bath to recover from the beating known as the long-run pace of @Fake_SamLynch. Then I'll hop in the shower at the Field House and head to brunch with the rest of the team. Afterwards, I'll walk very slowly back to the xc house, watch some of the Bronco's game if they are playing, and relax/procrastinate/play euchre or Cataan on the couch with the rest of the guys for a couple hours before grabbing some books and heading to the Catholic center for some studying. I'll sign in to the center as "Seabiscuit" and check to see if anyone I know has already arrived. Names I'm looking for are "Funny Cide", "War Admiral", or "Secretariat." Then I'll walk around for 15-20 minutes trying to find the perfect spot and/or watch funny videos with Matt Thwaites ("Funny Cide"). Around 6:15 I'll head to Trumbull for dinner with my old roommates, eat an outrageously large ice-cream sundae, and finish up any leftover studying before Core O'Clock with the gentlemen of the xYc house, followed by a viewing of Mad Men, a pajama party, story time, and lights out at 11...
