CAMBRIDGE, MASS. -- Austin Laut's win in the pole vault highlighted the day for the Yale men's track and field team at the Crimson Elite meet hosted by Harvard Friday. Laut's PR of 5.20 meters earned him his second win in as many weeks, as he also claimed first at last week's HYP meet.

Jimmy Shih also competed for Yale, finishing fifth in the triple jump (14.25 meters). Jack Dunn took sixth in the weight throw (15.69 meters).

All told the three Bulldogs earned 17 points, good for eighth place. Monmouth (64 pts.) finished first.

The majority of the team has the weekend off from competitions, as the Bulldogs prepare for BU's David Hemery Valentine Invitational next weekend.
