Numerous Bulldogs Qualify for Finals at Heps

In the opening day of competition at the Ivy League championships, hosted by Harvard, the Elis qualified several athletes for the finals of events to be held tomorrow.

In the 60m hurdles, Daniel O'Brien's time of 8.18 advanced him to the finals, while Victor Cheng and Brandon Giles moved on with times of 6.98 and 6.93 in the 60m dash. Kevin Alexander and Mark Falco will run tomorrow in the 400m and 800m finals, after running times of 48.61 and 1:54.30, respectively.

In the 1K run, Brian Gertzen and Reed Mauser ran times of 2:27.33 and 2:26.79 to advance, while Josh Yelsey's time of 4:14.41 in the mile moved him into the finals.

The Elis collected one point of the day and stand tied for 6th place with Columbia and Harvard.
