Elis Take on Tough Competition at adidas Raleigh Relays

Lucas Meyer placed 7th in the 5000-meter run and David Napper earned 11th in the 10000-meter run as the Bulldogs competed in the adidas Raleigh Relays, hosted by NC State.

Meyer, competiting in the field of 69 runners for the 5000-meter run, came in with a time of 14:22.06, good for 7th overall. Teammates Patrick Dantzer and Casey Moriarty also ran well, coming in 24th and 31st with times of 14:37.99 and 14:46.58.

In the 10000-meter run, David Napper earned 11th place out of 34 entrants with his time of 30:44.85.

The adidas Raleigh Relays will continue today.
