Yale to Compete at Boston University Terrier Invitational
Jan. 24, 2008
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - This weekend, the Bulldogs will head to Boston for the BU Terrier Invitational. Coming off of a win last weekend at their first Ivy League competition of the season against Dartmouth and Columbia, the Bulldogs will have a chance to face deep competition from around the region. The meet will be an opportunity to attain qualifying marks for later competitions and to see where Yale athletes rank in comparison to their rivals.
Last year, a high point of the meet for the Bulldogs was a solid win by junior Jake Gallagher in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 14:23.20.
The men's events will take place on Saturday, with the women's teams competing on Friday. See the Boston University Athletics website for a complete schedule. To see the current men's entries, click here.
This invitational is the first in a series of three mid-season meets against competition from outside the Ivy League. To see how the Bulldogs fare at the Terrier Invitational, check out www.yalebulldogs.com after the conclusion of the meet.
