2009-2010: Competed in 1500m at outdoor Heps … Opened outdoor season with PR of 3:55.54 in 1500m at Harvard-Yale … Consistently ran among Yale’s top five during cross country season.
2008-2009: Ran at IC4As on 4x800 Relay team, running a 1:54.2 lead off leg…Qualified for IC4As in the mile and as a member of the DMR…Finished third in 3,000m at Yale-Columbia-Dartmouth indoor meet…Yale’s number three finisher at Fairfield Invitational before calf injury ended his freshman cross country season.
High School: One of the nation’s top milers his senior track season, placing seventh in that event at the Nike Outdoor National Championship. Also ran 9:01 for 3200m and placed 14th at the Footlocker Northeast Regional in cross-country.
Why I chose Yale: “I chose Yale because it was a place where I could get the best possible education and be part of an up and rising team under Coach Ireland. After visiting, I knew that on top of all this, I was going to be able to have a great time (and so far this has been true). Yale was a perfect fit.”
Personal: Ezra Stiles College … History major … Father was Captain of the Lafayette cross-country and track teams in 1976.
