Bulldogs Earn All-Academic Status for 2010 Season

Post Third Highest GPA in Ivy League

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Bulldogs earned 2010 Division I All-Academic Status from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), announced on Thursday. They are the only team in the country to have earned the award for the 17th consecutive year.

The Bulldogs also hold the third highest GPA of 3.46 in the Ivy League conference after Dartmouth (3.51) and Harvard (3.49).  

To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.00 and have started at least five regional at the NCAA Regional Championship. A total of 152 teams from 31 conferences received All-Academic status.
