  • Reinhart and Team Awarded NCAA All-Academic Honors

    NEW HAVEN, Conn.— Last Friday, it was announced that the Yale men’s cross country team had earned team all-academic honors by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).  They also announced that junior Trevor Reinhart had earned individual all-academic honors.

  • Fall Academic All-Ivy Announced

    The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for 2017-18 Academic All-Ivy honors in its fall sports today, and 10 Bulldogs were honored. The five men and five women were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages.

  • Reinhart Earns All-Ivy Honors

    Running in his first race of the season, junior Trevor Reinhart earned All-Ivy honors for his sixth-place finish at the Ivy League Cross Country Championships this weekend. Reinhart led the Bulldogs in the race, a remarkable performance which indicates that, although he has only competed in one race this season, Reinhart remains in top shape for the Bulldogs heading into the NCAA championship meets.
  • Reinhart Leads Bulldogs at Heps

    Junior Trevor Reinhart finished sixth for the Yale men's cross country team at the Ivy League Heptagonal championships today, leading the team to a sixth-place finish. Princeton took home the championship with three of the top five finishers, followed by Columbia and Penn. 
  • Bulldogs Ready to Compete at Ivy League Heps

    The Yale men's cross country team is sending 17 of its top runners to the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, which will take place on Friday. This is the beginning of the championship season for the Bulldogs, who will be on the hunt for an Ivy League championship, as well as All-Ivy awards for individual athletes.
  • Elis Take Fourth at CCSU Mini-Meet

    The Yale men's cross country team raced to fourth place at the CCSU Mini-Meet yesterday. Sophomore Austin Stoner led the Elis, finishing the 5k course in 15:23.4. 
  • Bulldogs Head to CCSU Mini-Meet

    The Yale men's cross country team will compete close to home this Friday at the CCSU Mini-Meet, which is held annually at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Conn. The meet is the Bulldogs' last meet before the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships on Oct. 27.
  • Lomogda Leads Bulldogs at Pre-Nationals

    The Yale men’s cross country team was led by sophomore Jonathan Lomogda at the NCAA Pre-Nationals today in Louisville, Ky. Today's meet served as a preview of the course that will be used for the NCAA Championships at the end of the season.

    The Yale men’s cross country team travels to Louisville, Ky., this weekend, where the Bulldogs will compete in the NCAA Pre-Nationals meet. The meet will pit the Elis against many of the top teams in the country.
  • Noonan Leads Bulldogs to Top Ten Finish at New England Championships

    Sophomore Armstrong Noonan finished in the top 20 out of a field of 180 at the New England Championships today to lead the Yale men's cross country team. The Bulldogs finished an impressive ninth overall out of 27 teams.
  • Bulldogs Head to New England Championships

    The Yale men's cross country team will travel to the New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. this Saturday. The Bulldogs will have 11 athletes in competition at the meet, which has brought together teams from across the NEICAAA since 1912. 
  • First-Years Shine at Panorama Invitational

    The Yale men's cross country team placed fifth at the Panorama Invitational hosted by the University of Virginia today. They finished with 118 points. Three Bulldog first years placed in the top 25 finishers at the meet, providing a significant boost to the team. 
  • Bulldogs Ready to Race at Panorama Farms Invitational

    The Yale men’s cross country team will travel to Charlottesville, Va. this Saturday to take on several regional schools at the Panorama Farms Invitational at the University of Virginia. Fourteen Bulldogs are expected to run at the meet, and the team will look to build on the early-season success that began with last week’s victory over Harvard.
  • Bulldogs Beat Harvard, Chisholm Takes First

    The Yale men’s cross country team beat rival Harvard at the HY meet, held today at The Course at Yale. Senior Matt Chisholm placed first, and the Bulldogs took three of the top five spots. In the first race of their collegiate careers, first-years proved crucial to Yale’s victory, with three placing in the top ten of the meet.

  • Elis Set to Begin Cross Country Season

    The Yale men’s cross country team will return to the track in just a week and a half, looking to build on the success of their distance runners last track and field season. The Bulldogs return junior Trevor Reinhart, who earned All-American honors and raced at the NCAA Track and Field Championships, along with senior captain Adam Houston and sophomore Jonathan Lomogda, who hold the fifth-best and twelfth-best times in Yale history in the 5000-meter run. The Bulldogs hope to see this success extend to this season’s first cross country meet, which will be against Harvard and Princeton on September 15 at the Course at Yale.
