Yale 4th at Great Meadows Invitational

The Plains, VA - The Yale men's cross country team opened its season at the Great Meadows Invitational Saturday, placing fourth with 107 points. Duke (27 pts.) won, followed by Georgetown (42 pts.) and American (59 pts.). James Madison (149 pts.) was fifth.

The Bulldogs were led by a 13th-place finish from Joseph Kingsbery (20:52.22). Scott Peachman was 26th (21:24.91), Tadhg O'Callaghan was 27th (21:30.77), Brian Hanak was 31st (21:41.86), Brian Gertzen was 33rd (21:46.39), Rolando Garcia was 39th (22:03.21), Taylor Matthews was 46th (22:26.46), Mark Turner was 49th (22:44.54), Erik Brown was 51st (23:13.55) and Eric Kerchberger was 52nd (23:21.23).
