Yale Runs Past Harvard For Third Straight Year
Oct. 1, 2004
For the third year in a row, the Bulldogs outlasted Harvard, winning by a 20-38 score over the Cantabs in Cambridge's Franklin Park. Casey Moriarty earned first place in 24:26, the all-time fastest finish by a Yale athlete at that course.
"We ran very well as a team," said head coach Dan Ireland. "Our goal was to win, but we also had some guys run extremely well. We are headed in the right direction and I am excited about what lies ahead."
The Bulldogs will return to Franklin Park next weekend for the New England Championship.
