Men's Cross Country Narrowly Defeats Harvard, 27-28

Lukas Meyer set a Yale record for Boston's Franklin Park, finishing with a time of 24:27 as Yale defeated Harvard 27-28.

Meyer finished in second place to Harvard's Alasdair McLean-Foreman, who won the race with a time of 24:24.

It was the second straight year that the Bulldogs beat Harvard by a point in the Big Two Championship.

Behind Meyer was Casey Moriarty, whose time of 24:47 earned him third place. Rounding out Yale's finishers were David Napper in fifth place with a 24:56, Patrick Dantzer in eigth place with a 25:36, and Andrew Johnson in ninth place with a 25:40.

Josh Yelsey came in 11th with a time of 25:42, while Andrew Pitts finished 12th in 25:44.

The Bulldogs return to Franklin Park on Friday for the New England Championships.
