New York, NY - Yale improved on last year's 10th place finish to end up eighth with 248 points at Saturday's NCAA Northeast Regionals at Van Cortlandt Park. Iona took the team title with 59 points, while Martin Fagan of Providence was first individually with a time of 30:40.7. Jake Gallagher was the top Bulldog, finishing 29th with a time of 32:44.0.
The second runner for the Bulldogs was Brian Gertzen, finishing in 38th with a time of 33:01.8. The next two were David Napper in 50th (33:15.8) and Tadhg O'Callaghan in 56th (33:24.5). Rounding out the top five runners for Yale was Andrew Pitts, who placed 75th (33:49.5).
