USTFCCCA Announces Academic All-America Team Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Last Thursday, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released a list of cross-country teams receiving Academic All-American honors for the 2008 season. Yale's team was among those recognized for academic excellence; this year, the Bulldogs had an impressive team GPA of 3.52, which is the sixth-highest of any Division I team in the entire country. Yale had the top GPA of any Ivy League cross-country team, and was the only Ivy to be ranked in the top 30 nationwide.
