Bulldogs Roll Into Final At Henley Royal Regatta
Yale Takes On Leander Club & Wallingford R.C. In Final
HENLEY-ON-THAMES, England - Yale's varsity eight cruised to an easy victory over the Thames Rowing Club in the semifinals of the Remenham Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta. The Bulldogs finished in 7 minutes, 50 seconds, five lengths ahead of Thames.
In the boat for the Bulldogs were coxswain Berkley Adrio, Taylor Ritzel, Cara Dermody, Tess Gerrand, Maren McCrea, Alice Henly, Christina Person, Caroline Nash and Christine Glandorf.
Yale races defending champion Leander Club & Wallingford R.C. in the final on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. EDT. Leander won its semifinal race by 3.5 lengths.
