Bulldogs Finish In Top Three Of Qualifying Heats

Yale's coxless four has earned a chance to compete for the Town Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta. The Bulldogs faced off against 10 other crews in the qualifying races on Friday and were one of three to earn a spot in Royal Regatta, which kicks off on July 4.

"It is a great accomplishment for our athletes in the four," said Will Porter, The Friends of YWC Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "They are from our second varsity, and they are very tough racers. They nailed it today."

Yale's four will be one of eight competing for the Town Challenge Cup.

Yale's varsity eight is one of 12 crews competing for the Remenham Challenge Cup. The Bulldogs eight did not need to participate in the qualifying races.

The draw is set for Saturday.
