Four First-Year Bulldogs To Race In World Rowing Junior Championships

Three Representing United States, One Great Britain

Emmeline Laurence, Margaret Hedeman, Alin Pasa and Phoebe Campbell are very close to beginning their collegiate careers with the Yale women's crew. The four, though, still have one more adventure before they make their way to campus later this month. Each will compete in the 2018 World Rowing Junior Championships August 8-12 in Racice, Czech Republic.

Laurence, Hedeman and Pasa will represent the United States, while Campbell with row for Great Britain. Laurence will sit in the No. 3 seat of the quadruple scull, Hedeman is in the bow of the four, while Pasa will cox the eight. Campbell will be part of Great Britain's quadruple scull.

The four are part of a strong first-year class that will join the Yale program this fall.
