No. 3 Yale Takes Third at EAWRC Sprints

Camden, NJ - No. 3 Yale came in third in the Grand Final of the EAWRC championship on the Cooper River Sunday afternoon, finishing with a time of 6:19.57. Princeton won with a time of 6:16.10, beating Harvard (6:17.10) to claim the EARC championship as well as the 2004 Ivy League title.
Yale finished second in the Open 2nd Varsity Eight race with a time of 6:35.53 to Brown's 6:31.02. The Bulldogs were third in the Open 3rd Varsity Four "A" (7:39.57) and sixth (8:14.49) in the Open 3rd Varsity Four "B". In the Open Novice Eight, Yale was fifth in the Petite Final (7:04.47).
Yale's 47 total points from competition placed the Bulldogs sixth in the Willing Point Trophy, with Brown (67) first.
