Three Yale Rowers Earn All-America Recognition

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Three members of the Ivy League champion Yale women's crew have earned All-America recognition from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association. Junior Maria Stevens and sophomore Rachel Jeffers were both named to the first team, while senior Claire Norsetter earned second team honors.

Jeffers sat in No.1 seat in the varsity boat, while Stevens was in seat six and Norsetter in seat five.

Yale's varsity boat finished fifth at the NCAA Championship on May 29 in Rancho Cordova, Calif. The Bulldogs also captured the Eastern Sprints title and were 11-1 during the regular season.

NCAA champion California led the way with four All-America selections. Yale, Virginia, Ohio State and Princeton each had three.
