Gerrand, Ritzel Earn First Team All-America Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Sophomores Tess Gerrand and Taylor Ritzel, who helped lead the Yale varsity eight to the NCAA title, have both been named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Pocock All-America First Team. Gerrand sat in the No. 6 seat, while Ritzel served as the stroke for the Bulldogs, who won their second straight NCAA crown by less than a second on June 1 in Gold River, Calif.

Gerrand also was a first team All-American last spring, while Ritzel is being honored for the first time.
