NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's fencing team will compete at the 2013 Ivy League Championships, which have been rescheduled to Mar. 2-3 at Harvard's Albert H. Gordon Track in Cambridge, Mass.
The Ivy League Championships were originally scheduled for Feb. 9-10 on the Harvard campus. However, Ivy League officials postponed the event 36 hours prior to its anticipated start due to Winter Storm Nemo, which wound up dumping more than two feet of snow in the Boston area with higher totals in surrounding areas of the region.
The Round-Robins will get underway Saturday Mar. 2 at 11 a.m. with Penn facing Yale in men's and women's action, Brown facing Columbia in men's and women's action, and Princeton facing Cornell in women's action. All told, four rounds of matches will take place on Saturday.
Three more rounds will take place on Sunday beginning at 10 a.m.
