HARTFORD, Conn - Yale's contingent at the Junior Olympics this weekend may have been a small one, but she put up a good fight. Freshman Jennifer Cohen placed 129th in the junior women's foil division.
Cohen competed despite an illness. Cohen, who has excelled at foil for the Bulldogs this season, was able to compete even though she missed the qualifying rounds due to a simultaneous Yale competition at Brandeis. She successfully petitioned and was able to attend her third Junior Olympics.
Cohen contributed a 3-0 record to the women's victory over Cornell on February 12.
