Yale Earns National Academic Team Award Again

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale field hockey has been recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association with the NFHCA National Academic Team Award for the 2018 season, finishing with the fourth-best team grade-point average in the nation (3.62). The NFHCA announced the award winners Monday (full list here).

The Bulldogs have earned the National Academic Team Award in each of their 14 seasons under Pam Stuper, Yale's Caroline Ruth Thompson '02 Head Coach of Field Hockey. The award is presented to all NCAA field hockey teams that had a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall 2018 semester.

On Monday Mar. 18 the NFCHA will honor individual student-athletes with selection to the National Academic Squad.
