Harvard Wins, Yale Takes Fourth
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Due to early morning and rain and a wet afternoon forecast, the final round of the Yale Women's Intercollegiate was cancelled. Harvard was crowned the champion based on yesterday's rounds. The Crimson shot a two-round total of 610, besting second-place Penn by nine strokes. Yale finished in fourth place with a score of 626.
Yale's top finisher was junior Cassie Boles who finished in third place with a score of 151. Junior Harriet Owers-Bradley also placed in top-ten, finishing in a tie for sixth with a score 153. Sophomore Lily Boettcher played as an individual and finished in a tie for sixth with Owers-Bradley. She also shot a score of 153.
The Bulldogs will be back in action next weekend at the Nittany Lion Invitational.
