2010-11: 2011 Ivy League Player of the Year...2011 Ivy League Rookie of the Year...Appeared in all ten tournaments during the school year, taking first overall in 6 of them and finishing in the top three in all but one...fired an opening-round 66 at the C&F Bank Invitational en route to an under-par weekend and a first-place overall finish (-2)...won the Princeton Invitational (74, 68, 71), Yale Women's Intercollegiate (73, 70, 67), Harvard Invitational (72,74,74), Sacred Heart Invitational (75,73), match against Longwood (70)...third at Ivy League Championships (76, 78, 72)...was the Bulldogs' top finisher at the NCAA East Regional, tying for 20th with rounds of 74, 74 and 72.
Before Yale: Captain of the Kamiak High School golf team her junior and senior yeras, Moon led the team to the state championship in her freshman season. Individually, she finished in the top five in the state all four years, including a first-place finish as a freshman. Outside of high school golf, Moon competed in nationwide junior tournaments with Yale golf classmate Sun Park, and reached a highest rank of 38th nationally in her senior year. Played in the U.S. Women's Amateur Publinx tournament as well as the U.S. Junior Girls' Championship last year where she met Donald Trump and Annika Sorenstam.
