The Yale women's golf team will take aim at archrival Harvard and the rest of the all-Ivy field at the Harvard Invitational when they take to the course for Sunday's final round at the Boston Golf Club in Hingham, Mass. The Bulldogs sit fifth after Saturday's round, which saw many high scores -- and very few low ones -- carded up and down the leaderboard .
Harvard leads the team standings and on the individual side, where the Crimson's Tiffany Lim and Bonnie Hu are tied for first after shooting the low scores of the day at 75 (+3). Sophomore Sun Gyoung Park led the way for Yale with a round of 78, good for a tie for sixth overall.
Yale trails the leaders by just 11 strokes, a mangeable deficit, especially when considering the fact that sophomore Seo Hee Moon, last year's Ivy League Player of the Year, will undoubtedly be hungry to improve on her opening-round 81. The same is true for junior Alex Lipa, who tied Moon (+9, 16th overall), and will look to engineer a turnaround in Sunday's closing round.
