Before Yale: Captain of the Kamiak High School golf team her junior and senior yeras, Moon led the team to the state championship in her freshman season. Individually, she finished in the top five in the state all four years, including a first-place finish as a freshman. Outside of high school golf, Moon competed in nationwide junior tournaments with Yale golf classmate Sun Park, and reached a highest rank of 38th nationally in her senior year. Played in the U.S. Women's Amateur Publinx tournament as well as the U.S. Junior Girls' Championship last year where she met Donald Trump and Annika Sorenstam.
