Bulldogs Close Fall Season with Fifth-Place Finish
Looks Ahead to the Spring Season
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Yale women's golf team wrapped up its fall season with a fifth-place finish Sunday at the Oct. 20-21 Lehigh Invitational, held this year at the Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa.
It was a difficult final day that brought to a close a fall season that has included several strong results, including a powerful victory at the season-opening Sept. 15-16 Dartmouth Invitational.
The Bulldogs finished up at 622, 19 strokes behind tournament champion Princeton, which closed at 603. Junior Seo Hee Moon continued her strong contribution to the Yale team, putting up 153 (+9) to share in a tie for ninth place.
Those consistent performances mirrored those at earlier tournaments, when the Bulldogs battled tough competition and sometimes-rough conditions to finish in fourth place at the Sept. 21-23 Yale Intercollegiate and ninth place at the Sept. 28-30 Nittany Lion Invitational.
With the fall season at a close, the Bulldogs will break from competition until the spring season kicks off with a tournament in Florida in March.
