Three Stroke Victory

JUPITER, Fla. — Strong performances across the board by the Yale women's golf team saw it take home the Lehigh Palm Beach Invitational by three strokes on Mar. 11.

A three-team tournament held at the Lost Tree Golf Course here in Jupiter, Fla., the Lehigh Palm Beach Invitational pitted the Bulldogs against Lehigh and Richmond.

In its first match of the spring season, Yale came away with a three-stroke victory thanks to excellent play by several members of the team. Sophomore Marika Liu and junior Seo Hee Moon tied for second individually with +3 rounds, just two strokes behind tournament leader Crystal Lee from Lehigh, who shot +1.

Not far behind Liu and Moon were sophomore Shreya Ghei and junior Sun Gyoung Park, who shot +6 and +7 to finish in a tie for sixth and a tie for eighth place, respectively.

Next up for the Bulldogs is the Mar. 17-19 William & Mary Spring Invitational, held this year at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
