Bulldogs in Third After Second Round
10 Strokes Behind Harvard
BEDMINSTER, N.J. — With one final round remaining after the close of Saturday's round, the Yale women's golf team sits in third place at the Apr. 26-28 Ivy League Championship.
Turning into the clubhouse at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., the Bulldogs sat at +39. That score enabled Yale to ascend from fifth place, where the team finished on Friday, into third—just 10 strokes behind tournament leader Harvard. Princeton sits in second place at +33.
Three Yale golfers figure near the top of the leaderboard after Saturday's round. Tied for sixth are sophomores Shreya Ghei and Marika Liu and junior Seo Hee Moon. They all closed at +7 at the end of the day.
Golfers will return for a final round on Sunday, with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m.
