Orlando, Fla.— On day one of the Ivy League Championship, the Yale women's golf team currently sits in 7th place. Currently leading for the Bulldogs is freshman Beryl Wang with an 82 and sitting at T20th place. Although this is her first time at the Ivy Championship, Wang has done an incredible job of keep her composure through the still competition.
Right behind her teammate, senior Elisabeth Bernabe sits in T23rd with a score of 83. Only a stroke behind is sophomore Julie Luo with an 84. Senior Sandy Wongwaiwate is close behind with an 85. Rounding out the score for the Bulldogs is junior Jennifer Peng.
While the Bulldogs are currently the underdogs, their fighting spirit will give them a chance to move up in the rankings during tomorrow's second round of play.
