  • Spring Academic All-Ivy Announced
    June 20, 2018
    The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for 2018-19 Academic All-Ivy honors in its spring sports today, and 10 Bulldogs were recognized. The 80 men and women honored from the eight league schools were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages. Each institution nominated five men and five women from its eligible student-athletes.
  • Luo Named 2018-19 Captain; Sarathy Earned Widdy Neale Award

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- During the Yale women’s golf team end of season banquet, rising senior Julie Luo was selected as the team captain for the 2018-2019 season. Also announced that night, senior Jayshree Sarathy earned the Yale women's golf team's Widdy Neale Award for the second year in a row. The Widdy Neale Award goes to the player who does the most to boost the morale of the team and who goes the extra step both on and off the course.
  • NCAA Recognizes 15 Yale Teams

    Fifteen Yale teams have been recognized for academic excellence after scoring in the top 10 percent of their sports in the most recent Academic Progress Rates.
  • Peng Named to First-Team All Ivy

    Senior Jennifer Peng, captain of the Yale women's golf team, earned First-Team All Ivy League honors for the second time in her career on Wednesday. This announcement comes after giving a solid performance during Ivy League Championship where she tied for third with a tournament score of 225 (+9). The awards are voted on by the league's seven coaches. 
  • Peng Ties for Third; Bulldogs Take Sixth at Ivy Championship

    JACKSON, N.J.-- During the final day of play at the Ivy Championships, the Yale women’s golf team had their best round of the tournament, with a round three score of 311 (+23). The team ended the tournament with a sixth place finish and a total tournament score of 954 (+90). Senior Jennifer Peng ended her collegiate golfing career on a high, tying for third place with a tournament score of 225 (+9).
  • Bulldogs Sit in Sixth After Day Two

    JACKSON, N.J.— During day two of the Ivy League Championship, the Yale women's golf team sits in 5th place with a round two score of 324 (+36) and a tournament score of 643 (+67). Jennifer Peng continues to lead for the Bulldogs with a second round score of 73 (+1). She currently sits tied for third place.

    JACKSON, N.J.— On day one of the Ivy League Championship, the Yale women's golf team sits in 5th place with a round one score of 319 (+31). Leading for the Bulldogs is senior Jennifer Peng, tied for 4th place with a score of 77(+5).  
  • Bulldogs Head to Ivy Championships

    NEW HAVEN, Conn.— After a successful spring season, the Yale women’s golf team will head to Jackson, N.J., to compete in this weekend’s 22nd annual Ivy League Championship at the Metedeconk National Golf Club. The course stretches over 7,000 yards and has a par of 72. The three-day, 64-hole championship will begin this Friday, and the Bulldogs are ready to better their seventh-place finish at last year’s championship.
  • Weather Leaves Bulldogs in Eighth Place

    As predicted, weather conditions led to the cancellation of the second and final round of the Hartford Invitational. The Yale women's golf team placed 8th with a final tournament score of 316(+28). Junior Julie Luo led the Bulldogs, tying for 13th place with a score of 76(+4).

    Bloomfield, Conn.-- As day one of the Harford Invitational comes to a close, the Yale women's golf team sits in eighth place with a score of 316 (+28). Leading the team, junior Julie Luo scored a 76 (+4), landing her tied for 13th. 
  • Bulldogs Head to Hartford Invitational

    NEW HAVEN, Conn.--The Yale women’s golf team will continue its successful spring season this weekend at the Hartford Invitational.  The tournament will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, Conn.
  • Bulldogs Win Navy Invitational

    Annapolis, Md-- The Yale women's golf team claimed victory at the Navy Invitational with a tournament score of 650. Three members of the team placed in the top. Leading the team, junior Julie Luo won the tournament with her individual score. Senior Jennifer Peng tied for second place and first-year Gabrielle DeSombre tied for eighth.

    Annapolis, MD. -- The Yale women's golf team took the Navy Invitational by storm with a dominating team and individual performance. After the first round of play the Bulldogs currently sit in first place with a score of 316. Junior Julie Luo stole the show with a score of 73 (+1) putting her solidly in first place.
  • Bulldogs Head to Navy Invite

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's golf team continues its spring season Friday in Annapolis, Md., at the Naval Academy Golf Club. For this two-day tournament, the course will be a par 72 layout with a yardage of 6,085. Tee-off will be at 1:30 p.m. Due to the inclement weather expected this weekend, the first 18 holes of the tournament will be played Friday and the second round will take place on Sunday, weather permitting.
  • Bulldogs Place Seventh at Otter Invitational

    Round Two Cancelled Due to Weather PEBBLE BEACH, Calif.—During the final round of play at the Otter Invite, rain throughout the day led to unplayable course conditions, causing the second round to be cancelled late this afternoon. The tournament was officially announced as an 18-hole event. The Bulldogs placed 7th with a final tournament score of 310 (+26). Jennifer Peng ’18 placed T8th with a score of 74 (+3), marking her fourth top 10 finish for the 2017-2018 season.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After a successful fall season and challenging winter training, the Yale women's golf team will begin its Spring season Monday, Mar. 19, in Pebble Beach.
  • Bulldogs Take Seventh at Yale Intercollegiate

    NEW HAVEN, Conn.-- The final day of the Yale Intercollegiate was cancelled due to the rain. This loss of play left the Yale women's golf team in seventh place with round scores of 300 and 301 for a final score of 601. The Bulldogs were the second highest scoring team in the Ivy League during the tournament, faltering only to Harvard.

    New Haven, Conn.-- At the end of two days of competition, the Yale women's golf team currently sits in seventh place with a round two score of 301 and an overall score of 601. Senior and captain Jennifer Peng has made an impressive comeback during the second round, moving into T14.

  • Bulldogs Prepare for Yale Intercollegiate

    NEW HAVEN, Conn.— The Yale women's golf team will host 15 other schools at this year's Yale Intercollegiate. The tournament will take place in New Haven on Oct.6-8 at the Course at Yale, the home course of the Bulldogs and one of the nation’s best collegiate courses. This tournament marks the end of the team’s fall season.
  • Peng Claims Second at Princeton Invitational

    Princeton, N.J.-- After a nail-biting third round, senior Jennifer Peng rose above pack and moved into second place individually. Sophomore Felicia Chang also held her own on the course and locked in a T16 finish. The Yale women's golf team ended the tournament in 10th place with a third round score of 320 and a final round score of 953.

    Bulldogs Sit in T9 Princeton, N.J.—Senior and captain Jennifer Peng continues her impressive season with yet another noteworthy day of play. She currently sits in T3 along with Princeton's Maya Walton. The Yale women's golf team ends day one of the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club with a team score of 633. The team is currently tied for ninth place with Dartmouth.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn.—After an impressive performance at the Nittany Lion Invitational, the Yale women's golf team continues its season at the Princeton Invitational. The invitational will take place on the 6,100 yard, par 72 Springdale Golf Course in Princeton, N.J. with two rounds of play on Saturday and the final round on Sunday.
  • Peng Takes Seventh at Nittany Lion Invitational

    STATE COLLEGE, Pa.— Senior Jennifer Peng (+1) ended round three of the Nittany Lion Invitational on a high note for the Yale women's golf team Sunday, firing four birdies and earning a round three score of 72. Her impressive caliber of play throughout the three rounds of competition earned her seventh place individually.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn.—After an impressive first-place finish at its opening tournament, the Yale women's golf team will travel to University Park, Pa., for the Sept. 23-24 Nittany Lion Invitational. The 6,306 yard course (par 72) is no mystery to the Bulldogs, as they competed on the tricky terrain last year and earned a seventh-place finish. This year, the team is more knowledgeable about the course and hungrier than ever to take on the stiff competition.
  • Kemmer '12 and Roland '11 off to U.S. Women's Mid-Am

    NEW HAVEN, Conn.--Yale women's golf alumni Callie Kemmer '12 and Alyssa Roland '11 have secured spots to compete at the 2017 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur on Oct. 7-12 at Quail Creek C.C. in Naples, Fla.
  • Yale Takes First at Bucknell Invite

    Bulldogs Claim Top Four Spots The Yale women’s golf team seized victory on the last day of competition at the Bucknell Invitational with a final team score of 909. After securing a massive lead over the other five teams on day one, the most exciting part of the day was watching the Bulldogs compete against one another to claim the top individual spot.     Four Golfers in Top Five After two rounds of competitive play, the Yale women’s golf team currently sits in first place with an overall score of 594. The Bulldogs dominated the course today, with the next closest team 49 points behind.
