Yale In Second Place At Princeton Invitational

Princeton, NJ - After the first day of play at the Princeton Invitational, the Bulldogs sit in second place, 10 strokes behind host Princeton and six strokes ahead of St. John's University.

January Romero and Ellie Brophy had particularly impressive first rounds, shooting a 73 and a 74 respectively. Romero trails Princeton's Marlowe Boukis by only one shot.

Seventeen teams are competing in the Invitational, which is being played at the Springdale Golf Course.

The tournament concludes tomorrow.
