Elis Take Second at Yale Fall Intercollegiate

New Haven, CT - The Bulldogs turned in the weekend's second best round, posting a 303 on Sunday at the Yale Fall Intercollegiate and finishing second overall to Rollins College. The Elis finished 21 strokes off of the Tars' pace.
Sophomore Ellie Brophy's strong play continued, as she shot a five-over 75, tying her for second overall, six shots back of tournament champion Charlotte Campbell of Rollins.
Lindsay Hong also had her way with the Course at Yale today, shooting a 77 and finishing in sixth place.
"The course was definitely playing tough [and] we played really hard," head coach Chawadee Rompothong said. "It feels like a win."
Rounding out Yale's top three, Cindy Shin shot a 74 on Sunday and finished tied for ninth.
The Elis return to action on Oct. 14 when they travel to Philadelphia, Penn. for the Nittany Lion Invitational.
