Yale Women's Golf Volunteers at Local Middle School

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Yale women's golf team volunteered with a group of Wintergreen seventh graders last year. Wintergreen is an interdistrict magnet elementary school in Hamden, Conn. The team took part in an after school program called Sportsometry. The program is designed to make teaching mathematics to kids easy and accessible by tying it in with sports. Two freshmen, Cassie Boles and Alyssa Roland, were mentioned in a local newscast about the program. Click the link below to view the newscast.
