TOWSON, Md. - The Yale gymnastics team placed third in a tri-meet at Towson with William & Mary Friday night. The Bulldogs finished with a 187.950. Towson won with a 192.850, followed by William & Mary with a 190.325.
Joyce Li led Yale with a 38.425 in the all-around, placing fifth. Tara Feld was seventh with a 37.325 and Morgan Traina was ninth with a 36.350.
Li was second on the balance beam with a 9.650. Feld had a 9.725 to place sixth in the floor exercise. Lindsay Andsager had Yale's top score on the uneven parallel bars, a 9.700. Tabitha Tay added a 9.575 to pace Yale on the vault.
Yale returns to action Mar. 8 at the George Washington Invitational.
