NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Freshman Joyce Li received the honor of ECAC Rookie of the Week last week for the second time this season. The award came following Li's standout performance at a dual meet hosted by George Washington.
At GW, Li was second on vault with a 9.65 and won bars with a score of 9.75. She also scored a 9.75 on floor to place second. All three scores were season-highs for the freshman, and her all-around score of 38.35 was just below her career best of 38.425. Li placed second in the all around, and her performance was incredibly important in helping the Bulldogs to achieve their highest team score of the season, a 191.175.
Li received the same award on Jan. 31 following an impressive performance against Penn in which she placed third on floor and second in the all-around.
