Who is your biggest influence? Why? "My biggest influences are writers--from J.K. Rowling to Audre Lorde--who have inspired me and shaped my worldview." 

Favorite event? Why? "There's nothing like the feeling of competing on floor with your whole team cheering from the side."

Why Yale?: "I chose Yale for its academic rigor and flexibility, for the sense of community in the residential colleges, and the unity within my gymnastics team. I’m beyond lucky to do gymnastics with such a wonderful group of girls in a place with so many opportunities to explore my interests."
