Not far behind McPherson in the all-around was powerhouse senior Kathryn Fong, who scored a 37.6 for a strong second place finish in the all-around.
Yale trumped Brown and
Christine Lacy led the team in the vault competition, placing first with a score of 9.625.
On bars, Kathryn Fong once again dominated her signature event for an easy first place finish, scoring 9.8.
McPherson scored a 9.75 on the floor exercise, earning a solid second place finish. Although Mcpherson was the only Yalie to place in the floor exercise, four of the other Bulldogs still finished with a solid 9.5 or higher.
The Eli's strongest showing was on beam, where they easily shut out the two other teams. Fong led the team with a first place score of 9.525. Kristen Campbell came in second with a mark of 9.425, and McPherson was third with a 9.35. Lacy and Suchitra Paul tied for fourth place on beam with a 9.325.
The Bulldogs return to action at home on Saturday, Feb. 26, for the Ivy League Classic.
