PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Led by a 37.725 from Alina Liao and a 37.550 from Kim So in all-around competition, Yale placed first (189.225) in a meet with Brown, Rhode Island and Soutern Connecticut Sunday afternoon at the Pizzitola Center.
So's best score of the day came in the floor exercise, where she posted a 9.600. She also had a 9.475 in both the vault and the balance beam, along with a 9.000 in the uneven bars competition.
Liao's top score of the day, a 9.675, came on the uneven bars. She also had a 9.650 in the floor exercise, a 9.450 on the balance beam and an 8.950 on the vault.
Liao's score was Yale's best on the uneven bars, while Suchitra Paul had a 9.550.
Tatsuno led the way on the beam with a 9.600. The Bulldogs' score of 47.125 in that event led all teams.
Seltzer's 9.775 was Yale's best score in the floor exercise. Yale had the top team score in that event, a 48.300.
