Yale Travels to Towson

March 5, 2009

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - On Saturday, the Bulldogs will head south to Towson to compete in a dual meet. Last weekend Yale hosted the Ivy Classic, where it placed fourth with a 185.200. Towson is coming off of a loss to William and Mary, 192.025-191.600.

Towson has won the ECAC Championships in each of the last four years. They currently have a 12-5 record, but they haven't scored below a 188.800 as a team this entire season.

The Ivy Classic was the first time in three weekends that Yale had enough routines for a full team score. The Bulldogs have three all-around competitors: Allison Mak, Sarah Hughes, and Alina Liao, the Ivy Classic champion. Both Hughes and Liao have recently received ECAC awards.

Competition starts at 7:00 p.m. in Towson Center.
