Leonoff Named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Sophomore Jaimie Leonoff (Montreal, Que.), who registered her first career shutout Friday night to lead the Yale women's ice hockey team to its first win of season, has been named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week.
Leonoff made 31 saves in the 3-0 win at Colgate, holding the Raiders scoreless on all four power plays. She added 39 saves at No. 2 Cornell Saturday as the Bulldogs came up just shy of an upset, falling 3-2.
Leonoff has made 31 or more saves in all four games this season and ranks ninth in country with a .946 save percentage.
