No. 3 Bulldogs Head to Regis Bowl and Finger Lakes Intersectional

Oct. 3, 2008

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The No. 3 Bulldogs women's sailing team will have a busy weekend ahead of them, competing in two regattas. The team will split up and compete at the Finger Lakes Intersectional at Hobart and William Smith and will also send a squad to the Regis Bowl at Boston University.

This is one of the busier weekends of the season for the team, which usually only competes at one regatta per weekend. The Finger Lakes Intersectional is new on the college sailing schedule this year and should feature strong competition in 420s at the Seneca Lake venue.

The Bulldogs will also compete at the Regis Bowl event, a regatta that the Bulldogs have been successful at in the past. In 2007, the Bulldogs won the event with a second-place finish in A Division by senior Kate Hagemann and sophomore Elizabeth Brim and a first-place finish by senior Jane Macky and junior Marla Menninger.
