2012: Started 43 games, the most of any freshman… Tied for fifth on the team with 11 runs scored… First career hit was a double against Lehigh…  Had a career-best three hits in the first game of a doubleheader against Cornell… Finished with five multi-hit games… Longest hitting streak of the season was four games.

Off the Field: Work as a Nutrition Research Intern involving data collection and analyses for Professor Brian Wood, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, to draw conclusions about traditional hunter-gatherer diets vs. modern U.S. diets (2013 - present)…Volunteer at Community Health Educators teaching workshops related to drug use and nutrition in middle school classrooms (2012 - 2013)… Volunteer with Mountain Trail Building Company Name to help rebuild hiking trails in the Cascade Mountains (Summer 2008, 2009)…Audubon Junior Leader at Seattle Audubon Nature Society leading nature activities for children at summer day camps (Summer, 2008-2010)…Enthusiastic home chef and loves to experiment and create new and healthy recipes, as well as research information about nutrition (the processes and different approaches)…Avid hiker

Before Yale: Batted .526 in 2010 for Holy Names Academy… Two-time all-state and first team all-region selection… Team MVP in 2010… Helped Holy Names to four Seattle Metro League titles… Holy Names finished second in the state in 2009… Played club softball for Washington Triple Threat and was the team’s co-captain in 2011… Named to the all-tournament team at the 2008 NAFA Summer Nationals.

Personal: Recipient of a Washington State Honors Award and a President’s Award for Educational Excellence… Volunteered at a soup kitchen… Volunteered at an Audubon summer camp, educating children about the environment.
